Robert Eugene McFadden Sr., 63 of Boise, Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 31st, 2011.

Bob was born March 2nd, 1948 in Cortland New York to Leo & Zella McFadden. Bob was the youngest of 4 children. He spent his early years growing up on the McFadden family farm. The McFaddens relocated to California, where Bob Attended High School graduating from Homestead High school.

After High school Bob Joined the United States Marine Corp serving in Vietnam. Bob was extremely proud of his service to the corps and his country. Bob was honorably discharged on April 6th, 1973 with numerous decorations, medals, badges, commendations and citations including the Vietnam Cross of Gallentry with Bronze star.

Upon returning from Vietnam Bob met the love of his life Victoria Anne Lowder. They had 3 sons Robert Jr., Michael, and Ryan. Bob always made sure that his family came first. We spent many summers vacationing at Disney Land or fishing and camping in the mountains and lakes of California. In 1987 Bob moved his family to Boise, Idaho to enjoy a more relaxed small town environment that Boise offered.

Bob spent 33 years working for Hewlett–Packard holding many positions before retiring in 2002.

After retiring Bob spent his time helping Victoria operate Victoria’s Antiques, which was located in their old Victorian home located on Ustick Road. He enjoyed fixing broken lamps, pieces of furniture, making sure that the stores treasures were good as new.

Bob will be truly be missed, but we have many wonderful memories, which will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. To all that knew Bob, he lived life on his own terms; he was truly a one of a kind man.
